Dr. Cyrus Golshani is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained medical retina specialist. He has had excellent training and extensive experience in ophthalmologic and retinal diseases. He specializes in treating retinal conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vascular diseases. Dr. Golshani completed his medical retina fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic and ophthalmology residency training at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year of training. 

 

In addition to private practice in Fairfax, Virginia, he also currently provides care to our nation's veterans at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Golshani is an active educator and serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Georgetown, George Washington, and Howard Universities. He has contributed to many peer-reviewed ophthalmic publications and given many research presentations at national conferences. 

 

Dr. Golshani is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.
